WE are working though the last chapter in The Complete Green Letters – Part 4, The Realization of Spiritual Growth, Chapter 54 “Foundations of Reckoning.” Contained herein are Twelve Proofs or twelve evidences that:
“…..if you rest in Him in self-surrender for fellowship, relying with confidence on Him alone for deliverance from the guilt and penalty of your sins and from the power of indwelling sin:
“Then there are twelve proofs that you can never be lost:
WE have looked at the one through seven and will now review at the remaining five. But one comment before we proceed.
THESE are twelve foundational principles that establish our security and assurance in Christ. Indeed the Word is alive and powerful! I will always remember a faithful brother in Christ in a rather obscure setting many years ago sharing the truth of #5 with me. He was an older gentleman, a coworker at Southern California Edison who knew my stepfather having worked him at Edison prior to his retirement. I was relatively new on the job and was assigned to assist this Test Technician on a particular task. We began to converse and when he learned of my relation to my stepfather whom he recalled working with, he began to share his faith with me, telling me of the influence my stepfather had on his walk with Christ. In the process he shared Roman 8:1 in a way I’d never heard nor considered before. It became for me a “Eureka” moment that fostered a major turning point in my life, setting me upon a path in my Christian walk I’ve been on ever since. I cannot read or think on Romans 8:1 without recalling and being thankful for that encounter.
In the inexorable riches of Christ,

Foundation of Reckoning – Part 2
The Twelve Proofs continued:
8. Because Christ ‘ever liveth to make intercession’ for you, Satan has no power to unsave you. ‘He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them’ (Heb. 7:25).
9. Because the Holy Spirit has taken over your body as His personal, permanent home. ‘Iwill pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever’ (John 14:16).
10. Because the Holy Spirit has planted in you the very life of God, making God your real Father. ‘Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God’ (John 1:13).
11. Because the Holy Spirit has now united you with Christ and you are a very part of Himself. ‘For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body’ (I Cor. 12:13).
12. Because the Holy Spirit in you is the seal that your salvation is a finished transaction. ‘Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption’ (Eph. 4:30).
“Though your present sins cannot unsave you, remember there are other penalties youbring upon yourself, the least of which is chastisement at your Father’s hand.” “Do not faint when He corrects you, for those whom the Lord loves He disciplines” (Heb. 12:6, Wey.).
